What to see in Cabrera
Are you thinking about doing a trip to Cabrera but you’re wondering what you can visit on the island while you’re there?
You should know there are a lot of restrictions on the island due to conservation measures for its natural areas. However, there are a lot of places you can check out if you decide to discover the Parque Nacional Marítimo Terrestre de Cabrera.
The first thing on the list when we get to Cabrera is its natural port, a port surrounded by cliffs, capes and beaches that make it wonderful setting.
Dating back to the 14th century, the Castle of Cabrera is one of the most representative places and you don’t want to miss it, we recommend climbing up to it and then looking out at the magnificent views you can behold from up there.
The lighthouse of Ensiola is also one of the places to visit, a 21-metre-high lighthouse from 1870 located on the south of the island.
A required stop is the coast of the island, and not only the crystalline beaches, but the cliffs and caves are also well worth visiting.
Archaeological sites, highly diverse flora and fauna and a lot more await you to come and explore on your trip to Cabrera.
